Asbury Arts Center is excited to be bringing back this experience that will enrich your child's learning through dance! These classes are generally for Ages 7+, but feel free to reach out to us to discuss options!
Classes follow the School Year Session! Starting August 10, 2026 - June 12, 2027
What is "Adaptive Dance"?
Dance classes specifically designed for people with physical and mental disabilities. Adaptive dance classes are a space for dancers to explore their creativity while improving interpersonal/communication, spacial awareness, locomotor skills, and self confidence in a controlled setting. These classes aim to expand the world of the arts to those of all abilities and diagnoses.
Class Description
Structure and routine will provide a consistent foundation for dance classes. over the course of the class dancers will learn skill from the following dance disciplines: Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop. Each class will be 45 min long and consists of many activities. Classes will follow the structure listed below:
